FAQ

Q.

Is this going to hurt?

A.

Nothing in dentistry should hurt! We take pride in being a pain-free office and for making our patients as comfortable as possible. For dental procedures, you will be given a local anesthetic to temporarily numb the area which will allow you to have all your treatment done without feeling a thing!

Q.

What if I don’t have insurance?

A.

For our patients who don’t have insurance, our experienced front desk can walk you through our office plans, Care Credit options, or even help you sign up for certain insurances. If you choose not to get insurance, we will still be happy to treat you and explain all fees before treatment.

Q.

I don’t like the way my old silver fillings look… Can I change them?

A.

Yes, replacing fillings is a very routine procedure. Once we have x-rays of the teeth, we are able to replace old fillings with new tooth colored bondings that blend with your teeth. No one will know they are there except for us!

Q.

Do I need an electric toothbrush?

A.

For some patients, an electric toothbrush can do a better job than a manual one. Each patient is different and we customize each patient’s treatment to their needs. If recommended, we have several different electric toothbrushes, air flossers, and mouthwashes that are available for sale in our office.

Q.

When should I take my child for their first dental checkup?

A.

Your child should visit the dentist by his/her first birthday with regular visits as recommended after that. We make our young patient’s visits so enjoyable and fun that most cannot wait to come back!

Q.

Do you accept walk-ins?

A.

Yes, walk in emergency patients are welcomed. We know how painful a toothache can be! For more routine visits, we ask that you please make an appointment so that we are able to give you the quality time you deserve.

Q.

Are you open in the evenings?

A.

Yes! Unlike many offices, we are open in the evening on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. These late appointments are very popular and book up quickly so we ask that you make these appointments in advance.

Q.

What if I have more questions?

A.

You can call us at anytime with any questions you may have and we will be more than happy to answer them for you!
